Return/Exchange Policy

 

We want you to be happy with the purchases you make. If you're not satisfied, you may return or exchange the following within 60 days of the shipment's receipt:

  • Any item in its original condition
  • Any item damaged or defective immediately out of the box
 

We will refund your money as long as your product meets the above conditions and you include the original pack slip. For returns without the original packing slip, we issue an electronic Gift Certificate.

How to Return or Exchange an Item By Mail

It's easy to return or exchange any item by mail. Please save your packing slip. It serves as your receipt if you need to return or exchange an item.

To Send Your Return/Exchange to Our Warehouse

  1. Wrap the package securely. Use the original packing material, if possible.
  2. Please note if the item is to be returned or exchanged, and write the reason for return/exchange on your packing slip (i.e. defective, love it but we already have one, best toy ever for a 5 yr. old but not for my 13 yr. old, etc.). 
  3. Mail the package to 13 E. College Ave., Westerville, OH 43081.
  4. For your protection, we recommend you send your return/exchange with an insured, trackable carrier, like UPS or USPS. We do not recommend using overnight or second-day shipping due to the expense.
  5. Once we receive your item, we'll send you confirmation via e-mail.
  6. We'll process your return/exchange within 7-10 days after receipt of your package.
  7. For credit card purchases, we credit the card you used for the order 3-5 business days after we receive the returned item at our warehouse.
  8. Please allow two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.
  9. Is the item you want to return a gift? Indicate that you want to receive an e-mail gift certificate valid for the item's amount and note your e-mail address on the packing slip.

If you don't have your packing slip, please write your order number and the reason for your return/exchange on a slip of paper you enclose in your package. Your order number can be found in your confirmation email.

Note: unless the return/exchange is due to an error on our part, we can't refund shipping charges.

How to Return or Exchange An Item In Store

Returns and exchanges can be made in person at our brick and mortar location during regular store hours (see contact page). Please bring your packing slip to serve as your receipt. If items are returned within 60 days of purchase a full refund (minus shipping costs) will be given to the applicable credit card. If the item was a gift or the original packing slip is not available store credit will be issued in the form of a gift card.

Note: unless the return/exchange is due to an error on our part, we can't refund shipping charges.

Damaged / Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged or incorrect item in your order, we want to fix the problem. Just return the item directly to us, and we'll refund your money (including the original shipping charges). If you decide to exchange the damaged/incorrect item we will cover the shipping costs of your replacement order.

Modifying A Current Order

We are able to modify current orders only if the items have not already shipped. If you need to modify an order please call us at (614) 568-8590 as soon as possible. If an order has shipped it will then become a standard return and all policies and procedures relating to returns will be in effect.

"Free Shipping & Returns" Promotions

If you bought an item during a "free shipping & returns" promotion and you now need to return/exchange the item, please contact us for a shipping label. We will email (or mail, if you prefer) you a shipping label you can print out and attach to your package. The label will come with further instructions for getting the packaged delivered through the correct carrier. Otherwise, please follow all the above instructions regarding packing slips and reasons for return.

Special Return Instructions for Oversized Items

Some oversized items, including large playhouses, riding toys or easels may ship directly from the manufacturer. Please save your packing slip. If you need to return or exchange an oversized item, refer to the packing slip for the correct shipping address.
